A small section of the stretch of private fishing waters available.

     The Penrhiw Inn, has available for its guests, a stretch of private fishing waters, which can be used by any guest who provides a valid fishing license, these waters however, cannot be used during the night, and are inaccessible at some times during the winter due to high water levels.

     As well as the private waters available to guests, there are many other fishing locations available in the area, many within walking distance of the Penrhiw Inn.

    The Booklet by Trout & Salmon - "Fishing the rivers of Wales" describes the quality of fishing available in Abercych:

"The Cych is the largest of the Teifi tributaries and carries about 10% of the total flow of the system.       

Entering the main river just below the village of Abercych, between Llechryd and Cenarth, the Cych offers challenging fishing in beautiful surroundings."
